Yoga is a perfect practice to integrate mind, body, and spirit.  In addition to specific postures deep breathing meditation are included in the practice.  The physical postures promote strength building through isometric contraction, increase flexibility by moving joints through their full range of motion, and improve balance through strengthening stabilizing muscles and improving proprioception. Yoga can be used therapeutically for a wide range of conditions and The Center for Integrative Medicine is proud to offer classes focused on physical recovery, overall healing, and resiliency building.  While all yoga supports overall health and well-being, yoga therapy is designed to holistically address specific health conditions as they uniquely manifest in the individual.  We include yoga postures, breathing practices, meditation, and relaxation techniques that are all offered with the goal of healing in mind and body.

Our instructors are highly trained and experienced in their field of expertise and classes are taught in a safe, gentle, and supportive manner. All classes are held in the Community Center of the Center for integrative medicine.
