February is American Heart Month

In conjunction with American Heart Month,  the Center for Integrative Medicine will be participating in a 2 part presentation about heart health and disease prevention.

The first event, Transforming Stress for a Healthy Heart,  will be held on February 11th, from 6-7. Speakers will include Dr. Darlene Eyster from Exempla Rocky Mountain Cardiovascular Association and Dr. Wael Garas and Jennifer Leonard, L.Ac and Mind-Body medicine practitioner from the Center for Integrative Medicine.

The second event, Yoga for the Heart, will be held on February 20th , from 6-7. Speakers will include Dr. Wael Garas and Shayan Landrum, L.Ac and certified Cardiac Yoga therapist.

Registration required at the Front Desk of the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center with Code #411355-B or with Exempla at 303-689-4595.
