Here at The Center for Integrative Medicine, we work closely with the Good Samaritan Comprehensive Cancer Center to help people who have been touched by cancer. We strive to bring ease and increased wellbeing to patients as they go through treatment and recovery. In an effort to support these patients and their friends and family, the staff of the Comprehensive Cancer Center are offering a place to meet and find emotional support as well as education about their diagnosis. Please call 303-673-1620 for details. You will find a link to a flyer below.
Coping With Cancer
This group is open to individuals with any stage and type of cancer, and for their caregivers. Connect with others through group discussion, education, and emotional support. Feel free to bring your lunch. We will discuss strategies for coping, mindfulness techniques, and the emotional and social impact of cancer as well as any other topics requested by the group. This group will be facilitated by the Comprehensive Cancer Center’s psychologist Nicole Taylor, PhD and social worker Ben Gaibel, LCSW.
Dr Nicole Taylor is a psychologist at the Comprehensive Cancer Center where she provides counseling to patients and their families. Ben Gaibel is the Oncology Social Worker where he provides counseling and resource information.
